How to Calculate the Days Between Two Dates
Calculating the number of days between two dates is a surprisingly common task — whether you are counting down to a holiday, working out a notice period, checking how long until a contract expires, or simply satisfying curiosity about how many days old you are. This calculator handles all of these scenarios instantly.
The difference between total days and working days is particularly useful in professional contexts. A 30-day notice period sounds straightforward, but if it spans bank holidays or weekends, the number of actual working days is considerably fewer. This calculator counts Monday to Friday as working days, excluding weekends. It does not currently exclude UK bank holidays, so you may wish to add a few days' buffer for periods that span public holidays.
